Raised in the Faith
Mark was raised in a Christian home but never felt he had a home in any of the churches he attended. Almost constantly on the road, he developed an abiding love for Christian hymns which you will see reflected in all of his writing.
Life on the Road
After 20 years as a trucker and a period of security work with internationally known entertainers, Mark has seen most everything and been most everywhere in America. He makes no claim with regard to Biblical scholarship — only to inspiration as a witness.
The Trial
After years of good health, Mark suffered a systemic infection originating from periodontal gum disease. Though deathly ill, his faith and perseverance in prayer — and the reading of his beloved hymns over a sustained period in the hospital — brought him a new and profound awareness of the Lord in his life.
The Call
On June 13, 2012, Mark received what he refers to as his "Man With The Hammer" call — a divine call to witness for Christ through his writing. From that day forward, he has shared his poems and prose with the hope that you will benefit by his experiences.
"My friend, in all of this, my prayer is that you see Jesus. Remember — you are gifted too. What can God not do?"
